Its that time of year again when you want your garden to start looking nice, the thought of doing your garden with all the pets round your feet and them being scared its all a bit of pain. You have to get all your tools out of the garden shed, step over the power tools, to reach the stuff from last year that is covered in spiders webs.
When doing the garden my chickens get terrified about the noise that my lawnmower and the jet spray make, they get that scared that they then don’t lay eggs for a few days. They all huddle together at the opposite end of the garden and wont come anywhere near the equipment, not even for food! I dont want to leave them in the coup as i have tried this before and they just scream and make alot of noise. I feel like its very unfair to them, they act like the same way the dog does around bonfire night, It makes me feel almost guilty.
This weekend will be spent digging up the garden, re-potting what is left of the plants from the winter and making it look better for the rest of the summer.

I dont know about you but i dont ever let my dog or cat on the sofa, i dont think that is very nice for my friends and family to come inti the house and sit where my pet has left its hair. On the other hand i do feel very guilty when i am sat on a comfortable sofa and my dog is sat in its awkwards looking uncomfortable dog basket.
I was looking for something that i thought would be more comfortable and came across bean bagsfor your pet. They look at a lot more comfortable than the basket he already has, they can come in a variety of sizes, colours and it is great place for your pet to rest and snuggle. They are made to make your pet feel like it is a nesting area which will prevent your pet from shedding fur elsewhere.
The bean bags are easy to move around so you can put them in the car or take on holiday. The other great thing is that you can take the cover off them and put it in the washing machine, they are very durable and long lasting. I think that both mty cat and dog would love one.

I am the proud owner of 3 new chickens; the chickens are about 8 months old and are starting to produce some lovely eggs. I have had the chickens for about 4 months now and I am really getting attached to them, there really lovely and can be quite calming after a day at work.
My chickens are kept in quite a sturdy shed and it would be quite difficult for a fox to get hold of them but I am really paranoid. I am worried that I will come down in the morning and they will be missing or have been attacked.
A couple of weeks ago I could hear the chickens making a lot of noise in the early morning so i grabbed my torch and no battery supply. I had to go out in the dark and check if they were ok, or to see if anything was lurking. It turns out that they just wanted to play out and had woken up early. I wasn’t best pleased but I was relieved that I didn’t have any dead chickens.
Overall the chickens have been great to have over the last 4 months and have been producing about 15 eggs a week, which is great and the neighbours love it too.

My best friend’s dog gets very excited every time he sees other animals on the T.V. He starts to jump, run around and bark for a good few minutes, he is not controllable. This does not happen normally when where in the park it just seems to be when they are on the TV? When we are in the park he will just stroll past other animals and not care that they are even there. When at home if he asleep and he hear’s the TV advert, he wakes up straight away and gets excited all over again
Adverts on the TV for whale watching holidays and the Eon animals in the office advert make him very excited and he keeps jumping up at the TV. It is a bit dangerous as the TV is only small and he keeps knocking it over. It’s getting to the point now where my friend has to be on guard for when the adverts come on and she has to switch it over straight away. They take turns in the family to who is on advert watch. The dog thinks this is great that he gets so much attention; I think it’s very cute when he gets like this.
